Membership Code of Conduct
The Stoughton Country Club boasts a proud history of over 100 years of excellence and distinction. Our mission is to serve our members by offering a positive and enjoyable experience for them, their guests, and all visitors. We aim to create a welcoming environment where everyone can gather, socialize, dine, and have a good time.
We expect all members, guests, visitors, and staff to respect each other’s rights, dignity, and worth, treating one another with courtesy and respect. Please keep this policy in mind while enjoying the Club. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Club Management or any member of the Board of Directors.
Dress Code
To maintain the Stoughton Country Club’s friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the Board of Directors and staff kindly request that members and their guests adhere to the dress code to help create a pleasant environment. Please ensure you and your guests are aware of the Club’s dress code. We will, however, strive to accommodate you and your party in the appropriate space.

Practice Area Policy
- Practice area baskets and range balls will be available at the golf shop.
- This area is meant to be a member amenity as a warm-up area.
- The warm-up area is not meant to be an unsupervised activity.
- Only short irons are to be used in the warm-up area with a maximum distance of 180 yards.
- Please adhere to the SCC dress code policy.
Please note: The practice area may be closed to members if a club sponsored event is taking place. For example, during Junior golf or Junior PGA lessons on Mondays.
Monday Range Hours in July: Closed 8:00 a.m. – Noon and 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Student Membership Hours & Rules (19yrs and under)
Rules
- High School team range practice sessions should be held at other facilities.
- Students whose parents have a family membership, or if they have an “individual High School” membership, are allowed to use the facility. The understanding is that if they are under the age of 15, they will need a parent to be in the warm-up area with them.
- The warm-up area is not meant to be an unsupervised activity.
- If the High School team has an event at the course, all team members may use the facility that day.
- The student and/or parents need to check in at the office to get their bucket of balls. As this is meant to be a member warm-up area, and we have a limited number of balls, the student will be limited to one bucket of balls per day.
- Students, as well as all members, must be aware of golfers on the fourth hole and use some restraint until those players are out of range.
- Only short irons are to be used in the warm-up area with a maximum distance of 180 yards.
- Please adhere to the SCC dress code policy.
- Cart usage policy: Children must be 15+ years old to drive your private golf cart and 16+ years old to drive a Stoughton Country Club cart.
This policy is set by the Stoughton Country Club Board of Directors.
